1. What is Worth Agents?

Worth Agents is an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers with licensed real estate agents who offer flexible commission rates or attractive cashback deals. Unlike traditional platforms, you get to choose the agent you wish to connect with based on transparent terms and profiles.


For Buyers
2. What exactly is cashback?

Cashback is a portion of the agent’s earned commission returned directly to you after the property purchase. It’s your reward for using our platform. This cashback is always provided in cash unless you explicitly agree otherwise with your agent.

3. How do I estimate my cashback?

On our website, simply enter your home’s purchase price and select an agent’s cashback percentage to instantly view your estimated cashback amount.

4. Does Worth Agents charge buyers anything?

No, buyers use Worth Agents completely free. Agents pay our fee of $750 CAD (plus taxes) only upon successful transaction completion.

5. Are all agents on your platform licensed?

Absolutely. Each agent’s license and credentials are verified before joining Worth Agents. Nonetheless, we encourage you to independently verify your agent’s license.

6. Can I choose which agent to work with?

Yes! Browse profiles, review commission structures or cashback offers, and choose the agent that best fits your needs.

7. What if I’m unhappy with my chosen agent?

If you’re dissatisfied before signing any formal agreements, simply select another agent through our platform. Once you sign a Buyer Representation Agreement (BRA), however, you’re bound by its terms.

8. Is cashback guaranteed?

The cashback arrangement must be clearly documented in your Buyer Representation Agreement with your chosen agent. Always confirm the terms in writing before proceeding.

9. Can I work with multiple agents simultaneously?

No. Once you’ve signed a BRA, you are legally obligated to work exclusively with that agent during the agreement term.


For Sellers
10. How can Worth Agents help me save money?

Our platform connects you directly with real estate agents who offer flexible listing commissions—often significantly below the traditional 2.5%. This allows you to keep more of your property’s value.

11. How do I estimate my potential savings?

Use the commission slider on our website to compare traditional commissions with flexible offers. Instantly see how much you could potentially save.

12. Are there fees charged to sellers by Worth Agents?

No. Worth Agents is completely free for sellers. Agents pay our referral fee of $750 (plus taxes) only after your transaction successfully closes.

13. Are the agents experienced?

All agents on our platform are licensed professionals in good standing. Nevertheless, we recommend interviewing potential agents to verify their experience and compatibility with your goals.

14. What is a Listing Agreement?

A Listing Agreement is a legally binding document between you and your agent. It outlines services provided, agreed-upon commission rates, and other responsibilities. Always review carefully before signing.

15. What if I am dissatisfied with my agent?

First, communicate your concerns directly with your agent. If unresolved, consider contacting your provincial regulatory body (such as RECO in Ontario). Worth Agents does not mediate disputes.

16. Can I switch agents after signing a Listing Agreement?

Typically, a Listing Agreement legally binds you. Always consult with legal counsel or your agent about possible amendments or termination procedures.


For Both Buyers and Sellers
17. What exactly is Worth Agents’ role?

We’re a marketplace connecting you with qualified, flexible agents. We do not represent clients in transactions, negotiate on your behalf, or draft real estate documents. Those responsibilities remain between you and your agent.

18. When and how does Worth Agents charge agents?

Agents pay Worth Agents a flat $750 CAD (plus taxes) fee only after a successful property purchase or sale involving clients matched through our platform.

19. What happens if a deal doesn’t close?

No fee is charged. Agents only pay the referral fee $750 CAD (plus taxes) after successfully completing a transaction.

20. Can I delete or deactivate my account?

Yes. Email us at info@worthagents.ca to request account deletion. Note that any existing BRA or Listing Agreements must still be honored.

21. Does Worth Agents provide legal or financial advice?

No. Worth Agents provides no legal or financial services. Always consult qualified professionals for these matters.
